Hey all~!

It's 2011 and I've got great news to share here!

1stly, I've recently got a JOB~!!! I'll be working as a Matchmove Artist at Double Negative, which started last month *sorry didn't update*

A little history on Double Negative:

Double Negative, located in the heart of London's Soho, was set up in 1998 with a team of 30 staff. Since then the company has grown to 850+ staff, making it Europe's largest provider of visual effects for Film. Over the past 12 months, Double Negative has completed work on projects including; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Inception, Iron Man 2, Kick-Ass, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Wolfman, 2012 and Green Zone.

Yep, so it's a movie Visual Effects Company and it's simply an awesome place to work at, the environment is great and the peeps there make it even more awesome :D

2ndly, since it's 2011, I should set a few goals out for myself to complete by the end of this year :)

So, here it goes, Cyrus's List of things to do for the coming year :D

1. To reinvent myself. Yes, it's exactly what it says, in the coming months I'll be working towards reinventing myself, to throw out the bad habits and cultivate better habits. No more procrastination and worrying. No point keeping bad habits if it will only pull/slow one down ya?

2. No looking for love, only friends. Yesh, this, i realize, has been a heavy emotional burden I've been carrying along with me for years since my last relationship. So, I'm gonna scrap this out of my head. Life has its tendency to work in the opposite direction when you want something to happen in your life, so from now onwards, I'll be leaving that to nature to take its course.

3. To get a Driver's License. Yep, if I don't get it this year, I will never get it. :)

4. To pick up a sport and have a healthier, more active lifestyle.

5. To have a savings amount of 5k in total by the end of the year. Saving is always a good thing.

Yep. So that's how it'll go, my list of things to do for the coming year. b(",)

I'll do my best to keep blogging this coming year, so do keep a lookout for more posts :D

Hey y'all, it's really been a very very long time...

This blog is definitely not dead, it's just that times are too hectic these days.

After a long 2-3 months of strenuous work on my production, it's finally completed. Gosh what a relief~! But then the reality sets in and the need to get a job soon takes over. Haha, not much of a well deserved break i guess... I would love to show you guys what i'm working on and the reels i've just completed. Be sure to visit my work blog to check em out if you're curious :D

I've moved my stuff from school back home. And times at home have been very... sickening. I really can't wait to move out once i get a job, to feel how it is like to finally rely on myself alone, not to mention be rid of the chaos my home usually has. I miss my pals at school more than i miss home, weird isn't it? Usually it should be the opposite, but to me, school was like family, and i will miss my pals. Doesn't mean we can't hang out, but well, it's just not as frequent as we want it anymore :(

You're WRONG hahahaha

It's been 2 months (omg... again) since my last blog update, and the reason is still the same.

School. Production. Crap.

Things were doing ok... for the past 2 month on the Production Project, till last Friday. Seems that one our VFX artist, the most important member (i doubt he realizes it) is going on another course in 2 weeks, leaving the rest of us (3 just to let you know) to finish up his shit. -_-"

Like WOW... Initially, i was thinking to just finish up my part and start looking for a job, but hey, now i've gotta push all my plans back and finish whatever he left behind for us to die with. And the best part is that I've got no idea what the hell that a**hole has been doing the past 2 months. Because the lighting i saw on Friday, is no different from the one i saw 2 months back... So what has he been doing??? I don't wanna know... All i know is that if we don't get our project done, we're not getting our diploma.

I know what you are thinking:
So if you guys finish it, you guys get the diploma, but doesn't he basically piggyback you guys?

I've got your answer:
Nope, he only gets a certificate of completion, not a diploma.

Well, least it's fair enough for us. Hopefully the school doesn't go back on their words.

But ENOUGH of the depressing stuff.

Although it's been busy, I've had some fun happenings recently.

First off. I went to Universal Studios Singapore~!!! XD

Although the main attraction (2 roller coasters) is still not open, yea, kind of wasted :(

It was still fun~! There were sooo many rides that were so so awesome~! There was the exhilarating, yet terrifying The Mummy Ride, the fun 4D Shrek show which blows your senses away, and the fun Jurassic Park Rapids Ride. But it's too much to type, and i think i cannot explain it, the experience is just beyond explaining in words alone, you'll have to go experience it yourself :D

The other happening is that i've made a new friend.

Oh, you'll be thinking, pffft, a friend, what's the big deal? Ok, so what about a korean pen pal?

Yep, I've recently made a pen pal from Korea, and my perspective of e-mailing just changed~ Although we've only recently started, it's so exciting to know that I'm actually making a friend miles away from Singapore.

It's just so different when you start using e-mail compared to Instant Messengers like MSN or Yahoo Messenger. I feel so much more expressive and one can perhaps say that, although I don't know my pen pal. I feel connected on a different level because I have never thought that I could relate to someone from another part of the world.

Perhaps you guys should try it too :D

OOoooo An update!

Yo yo yo! It's been what? 2 months since my last update?

Well, school's been kinda hectic with the final phase of the diploma phase.
Simply put it: Busy with final production project XD

So yea, I've been thinking, that when school's over and done with. It'll be the time to get a job, find a place of my own (or well, rent a place with some of my friends) and work on my career. But i guess that's normal? It's the usual cycle that perhaps everyone will go through and face through most of thier life? Well unless they are rich or something...

Another thing, I wonder if I'm just a indecisive person? Or is it that every choice I'm stuck with, it's actually a hard decision to make? I don't know if the mentality of: * Never being good enough * is actually stopping my progress in life, or pushing me forward every step of the way. But i guess life has it's own surprises? So who knows... :P

In another way, it's always good to think? At least i know i'm somewhat normal? hahaha

Another year goes by again...

Gosh... It's a year already? Guess time does fly when you're having fun...

Well, so yea, happy b'day to myself, or some would call it, Older Day.

So there were 2 events today which will mark my Older Day today.

1st of would be the little celebration organized by my classmates.

But first, I've got a confession to make: I haven't had a birthday cake for like the past 5 years. And I totally wasn't expecting anything from anyone today other than a few birthday wishes, but I was totally surprised today when my classmates walked in with a cake!

So i would like to take this opportunity to thank you guys who planned today's little celebration and this will be a memory that will stay on with me forever.

The 2nd event would be the after school celebration i had with my close friend and his girlfriend.

So i left school, around 6pm, met up with my pal & his gf at city hall, which we together travelled to Gallery Hotel. Now, you wonder what's so special at Gallery Hotel. Well, it's simple really. Cause there is a Ramen Shop there named Miharu Ramen.

I'm very impressed with this Ramen shop, cause the soup is SO TASTY. It has this clear yet complex taste to it which i can only describe as WOW. When you slurp down the hot soup, it starts out sweet and ends a little salty, but the transition is awesomely smooth. Highly recommended to anyone.

And i conclude this post, and hopefully will add more posts soon, so for now, cheerio :D

Sometimes i wonder...

Sometimes, i wonder to myself and ask these questions in my head.

I wonder what kind of a person am i to the people i know. What kind of a person am i to my family and friends... Am i a easy target to make use of, or just simply a soul that people take pity on.

I wonder if I'm hated/disliked by someone at this point in time, and he/she may be just putting on a mask, never to reveal to me his/her true feelings.

I wonder if love will ever find a way back to my side, that perhaps, somewhere, someone is also looking, just like me. Or that girl i like is just waiting for me to make a move, cause she feels the same way too.

It's silly to wonder on such things, but after all these are asked, one can just reflect and comeback to face reality.

Perhaps it's time to move on and try new things with my life...

Yoz! I guess it's time i did an update to what's been going around my little life.

1st off! I want to announce my latest acquisition: the Canon EOS 550D.

It's been 2 years of empty promises and patience, so i decided, it's time i get it myself. Waiting for it from my parents is never gonna happen. So yes, with this new addition to my list of [Not to leave home without] items, i hope to capture more of my perspective of life and share with you my view of the world :D But due to my decision, i have been on the rocks with my parents and i do not see a sign of things going back to normal @ home.

2nd, I went on an awesome outing with the peeps from 3Dsense and went to catch the movie: How to train a Dragon.

It was an awesome movie from Dreamworks. (To tell you the truth, i was getting a bit bored of their shrek series) It had an good story, fun & cute characters and fantastic animation. I give it a rating of 5/5. I highly recommend anyone to go watch this animation :D

After the movie, we all went to the arcade and had a few good games :D I hadn't had this good company in a long time and I'm definitely looking forward to the next outing with them. As they say, the journey can be boring, but a great company can make all the difference.

Brighter days ahead?

YOZ! Another Update in a loooooong while...

I know i know, it's been a long time since my last post, but hey, life's busy and well, things kinda get forgotten. :P

Anyways, it's 2010... Yay on that, another year gone by and still chaotic as ever...

And an update of what's up and around in my life these 1-2 months.

Well, on the eve of the new year, i was doing some self reflecting while i was in class doing my assignments, and i had a new year's resolution, to let bygones be bygones, and move on, no use being angry and hold grudges forever right? So yea, so from the 1st Jan 2010, i decided to let everything go and start the new year with a fresh start.

Currently, i'm at the end of my 2nd phase of my course. And the next phase is starting real soon, which is about next monday. My choice of specialisation? Well, I've been thinking about it, and i feel that i'm basically an all around-er at the moment. But the way i see it, I feel that animation will have the highest payoff in the future, and i enjoy doing it, so i'm taking animation, but at the same time, i will do the rest (modelling, VFX) as a hobby. :P

Something happened yesterday...

I became a victim of a hit and run accident, with the perpetrator still out there... But Justice will be served, and he will get his desserts...

I would've been in a a more serious condition, or even died. But here i am blogging, with an abrasion to my left palm, a bump to my left thigh, and a deep wound to my right shin...

I guess it wasn't time yet, and i'm grateful to be here.

I never knew that there were people who really cared till this day, i thought that i would've died a loner...

Talk about some good news... I think...

Well... something real interesting happened yesterday. Let me give you a rough idea of a typical friday in school.

Every Friday, i come to class for assignment period. I walk to my desk at my table at the back of the class, and do my work. My buddy, Furby (aka Firdaus), who sits right next to me, does the same. We're both working and do our own stuffs, asking for comments and sharing ideas till the end of the day. This is a typical friday at school.

BUT yesterday, something broke the monotony of the day. After lunch, while me and furby were doing our usual stuffs, Gary makes an appearance at the class, and points to the 2 of us, and he spoke with a tone of seriousness: You two, come out. (Gesturing with his hand) Furby and me look at each other, and we're wondering what the hell's going on. So we stepped out and we're confronted with both Gary and XiaoHui. He asked us to make a random guess of why he called us out. And i randomly shot out, Student Leader.

Gary smiled, and Bingo! Both me and Furby were going to be Student Leaders! Be a representative of the school etc etc etc events etc etc. I don't know how to react, cause i didn't even think i was gonna be picked in the first place. And here i am, being entrust with the responsibility of being a face of the school. -_-

So yay i guess. :P

A brighter future perhaps.....?

Yoz! It's been sometime, and guess some of you, are wondering what's been happening and going around... But sadly, life has become such a bore and my daily routine is just the usual cycle every single day. Will life be this routine for me in the coming years ahead? I hope not.

Since entering the second phase of the course, school lessons have been getting more interesting. I'm doing things that i thought would have been impossible if i wasn't taught by the awesome teachers XD

So the week's break is finally here, and i can take a perhaps deserved break from all the work from school. But hey, it's gonna be a week of just rest and leisure, with a bit of time drawing and self learning.

Now, you must be asking, why the drawings? Isn't it suppose to be your break? You shouldn't be overexerting yourself.

I'll tell you why: Because when school resumes next week, the work's gonna be alot tougher, or so i hear. And there is no way i'm gonna allow myself to fall behind. Thus the drawings and self learning. IF i don't work hard enough, i will be letting myself down and it would lead to the end of me. So i cannot allow that to happen. If i have set a goal, i gotta work towards it, and the only one that is capable of holding me back is myself.

Guess what? Time to update this blog that feels soooo dead.

Well... Something happened interesting happened today, a huge change in the norm. Because we were invited by Gary ( 3dsense *HOD* ) to be the guinea pigs for a few games DVE 12 & 13 have come up with to welcome the next batch, DVE 15.

1st up was this kinda ??????????? game.

Rules was to group in groups of 5-6 peeps
Each member gets a card, and we're to pick 2 words from this
Collect the 10 words and create an interesting story to make the guy, sitting on the couch laugh.
Well... We all failed to make him laugh... -_-" (I personally felt that the guy was trying to act all cool in front of us and prevent himself from laughing.)

Next up was this pirate/battleship game. Well, self explanatory, last ship standing wins. Oh, plus add in a cute chick as a sea monster and another as a raider pirate. :P

And lastly, the most fun i had in a long time, the POSE game.
What We're suppose to do is to memorize as much poses as possible and recreate them when the number, which the pose is allocated to, is called out. And we're to pose the exact same poses within 30secs, which we will be snapped to have fun pictures to share and laugh about.

What made it fun was that, well, my group only memorized 2 of the 7 given poses. So the rest of the 5, we just randomly came up with random poses and mugshot like pictures. The whole thing became one big laughing game, on who can create the lamest and funniest pose. (not to mention add in funny facial expressions) Will upload them next time, so look out for them XD

Hey y'all!

It's been sometime and there's been happenings... Well not really.

School has been really awesome, but the homework's still on the constant input, and i'm like, doing my best to output. But seriously, if anyone were to join my course, i swear, it'll drive them mad. It's all down to passion and willpower. I've like slept a few hours on some days and it's really taking a toll. I sometimes feel so dead and zombiefied.

I've even been labelled a robot. -_-"

And when there's in school stuff, there's always out of school stuff. Well, nothing's really happening in my life. But what can i say, life's like that. There are good times and bad times. But there are also the boring times... Zzzzz....

Wow! What a week i must say...

Officially started lessons on tues, 21th July 2009, and it was like soo new to me. All the information i was getting was like, woah...

Well, so far i have met 4 of my lecturers. Let me introduce them :)

John, is the guy in charge of my cohort DVE-14, he named himself as our "nanny" :P And he's currently teaching us in Foundation Art, cool stuff.

The next would be Sacha, he's the guy to go to about Film Studies and Storytelling for Production. He's cool and hilarious at times :)

Then there's Chui San, she's in charge of Principles of Animation. She's a nice lady :P

And lastly, there is Edward, he'll be teaching us ZBrush in the future, but now he's just in charge of Assignment Period.

Currently it's kinda pressured for me, cause not used to the workload, but it's still nonetheless fun :)

Plus i've got to look after her now that she's in a vulnerable state, such a headache sometimes. But i promised i'd be there for her and i'm glad that i could :)

Well, school officially starts tomorrow and boy, am i anxious... My new classmates, those i've made some acquintances during orientation, are really nice people. Although they are way older than i am... I'm like one of the younger ones in class OMG... I feel like i'm the in the wrong class that day.

I kinda like my new surroundings, the lecturers are cool, my classmates all seem normal, don't see any potential class killers yet :P And there seems like a storm coming soon, so gotta brace myself and do my best :)

He took me for a brother, but in the end of it all, he just used me for his own selfish desire. I lost a brother and i may never bring myself to forgive him no matter how much he changes.

So don't bother to ask me to forgive him, for he deserved none to begin with. If he comes begging for forgiveness, try to see what you'll get. Feeling guilty is useless cause what's done is already done, if not he wouldn't have done what he did in the first place.

This will be the biggest mistake you'll ever commit, for you took another's sin from your own past and used it on me. That's 3 years all gone down the drain, i hope you're satisfied going down that line to get what you desired.

I never expected anyone, especially you, to commit such a crime, to backstab your own brother! For i never wished to do such a thing to anyone, especially you. For 3 years i backed you up and this is what i get, being nice ain't worth it no more.

I'm through and i've thrown in my gloves, for i can't stand it anymore & i'm moving on. >:(

Hey y'all!

If you guys should remember, my school's starting just around the corner...

This means:
1. More commitment to my work/school in the days ahead. :)
2. Now i got more stuff to do compared to my last few months, can't complain bored. :)
3. Less time for leisure & funz :(
4. Less time for clubbing :(
5. Lesser time spent maintaining friendships... Zzz -_-"

The challenges ahead will be tough and strenuous. But from this, i gotta learn how to balance dedication to my dream and work, with my social life.

If this someway is off balanced, you'll either be seeing a workaholic or a failure in his craft :P But i most likely might tilt towards workaholic if life is going to continue on like this.

Hey, something new again!

Was planning this day for about a week, and the plan finally kicked off today!

So today i took the lovely Miss Sze Ya out on a little trip to the Singapore Zoo!
And boy did we have such an awesome day...

From adoring cute critters to watching fierce tigers to running from TERRIFYING butterflies, it was just so much fun :P

But i think what was the best part of today was the fun in having company :D

Good day! It's Sunday and I decided to do an experiment on how to make this space more interesting for you readers :)

So i woke up this morning, and i look out, woah... A bright & Sunny day!
I promised to meet Adrian for lunch, but first, i take bus 14 to his place :)
But when i do arrive at his place, guess what? He was still in his sleeping cloths! OMG! Lunch time already bro! XD
So he did a quick change and off we went to Tiong Bahru Market, about 5-10 mins walk from his place. Apparently a quick shower happened to pass by the area.
And this is Tiong Bahru Market. Awesome place with awesome food! :P
Had Tiong Bahru Chicken Rice... Yummy... b(",)

Around 4.50p.m, i make my way down to Vivo City to meet with the pleasant but camera-shy Miss Sze Ya :)
And we went to catch this very gross and scary movie... Highly recommended :)
After that, i couldn't believe i had the appetite to even eat some pasta :P
And to finish off the day, we had some ice-cream and milkshakes from Ben & Jerry :) (Not much photos, forgot to take most of the time)

So yea, it was quite an interesting day :)

A week at Singapore Expo :)

Ok, finally something to blog about. Apparently, i need to get myself a camera, so that i can blog more stuff that's going on in my life ( Example taken from Danny Choo )

Well, I was here at Singapore Expo for the past few days, participating in an event named CQ Overdrive 2009. Organised by my school: 3dsense Media School :)

It is an event for those who are in the industry of Computer Graphics, eg: VFX, Animation, 3D Modelling, Digital Illustration. A really cool event, maybe you readers should go see it next year if you're wondering what this whole industry is really about :)

So here i am at Singapore Expo :)

So i check the map: See it's location. It doesn't take the whole hall tho, i'll show you later...
Registered at the booth, to get my Delegate pass for entry to the conference. There were other Professional tracks, but i couldn't go for them :)

What a night! Love it love it love it!

Here i am again. And all i can say is: What A night! XD

Was here with my friends at Butter Factory. Arrived there, see this queue of like maybe estimate 200+ people.

My friends reaction: SIANess... -_-"

But after a long test of patience and endurance of standing in a hot and sweltering night, we were finally in and my immediate first reaction: I like this place already... :D
The place was filled with very interesting Graphic art by numerous famous and not so famous graphic artists of our day. And the DJ was pumping out some dance music for the crowd.

The air inside was static initially (a norm because the night is still early), with only afew people dancing at the DJ counter... But as the night went on, and more people getting intoxicated by alchohol, people were showing thier stuff at the dancefloor already. My thought at that time: I love this place :)

So here is what i drank for the night: 1 mug of Asahi Beer and a Cranberry Vodka (Supplement drinks) 4 shots of Midori Vodka (good stuff, sweet and bitter, nice mix) and 1 shared jug of I think (0r at least tasted like) was Coke Whisky (This one had the most kick in the bunch) Still not drunk, i just spent the night dancing my heart out, and i realised this: This is the best way to express myself, and this felt addictive, to dance on and on and on. Gotta do this more often. ;P

So the night ended and we all walked from Onefullerton to Chinatown
Sat at Mac for a while and then took the first train home...

And that concludes one of the more exciting nights of my 21 life. XD

Another Birthday, another year... Sigh... I feel old already...

Can't believe that i'm now eligible for all these stupid useless things when you turn 21!

1 Eligibilty to vote... Urgh... As if the guy who owns my area will ever be challenged...
2 Now i can watch R21 movies. Big deal! It's not as tho i'm the only one who downloads it from the net before i'm even 18...
3 If convicted, i will be sent to a JAIL! Like i'll do anything as stupid as those criminals.
4 I can get married now... Yay... If i ever find a partner at this rate my life is proceeding...

So seems like being 21 isn't an all too great thing to celebrate once you know the "responsibilities" that is given to you on your birthday.

Dreams: Conditions or achievements that are longed for; aspirations

I have a dream of one day living in Japan, and at the same time, be accomplished at whatever i choose to do in my life. I know dreams are said to be unrealistic, but what if one puts in enough effort and has the passion to carry this out till he completes it? Can it be called unrealistic anymore?

Maybe unrealistic thinking derives from a lack of a certain element in a person's life? When a contented person is not contented with his/her life anymore? Or maybe when one decides to step out of his/her comfort zone, to experiment new things in his life?

But it always made me wonder, can anyone live in content for the rest of their life? To not try new things to live an even more fulfilled life? Guess I'm in no position to question this. ;P

But before i go, here's a question for you readers:

The National Ignition FacilityThe National Ignition Facility, or NIF, is a laser-based inertial confinement fusion (ICF) research device. The NIF uses powerful lasers to heat and compress a small amount of hydrogen fuel to the point where nuclear fusion reactions take place. NIF is the largest and most energetic ICF device built to date, and the first that is expected to reach the long-sought goal of "ignition," in which the fusion reactions become self-sustaining.

But of course, there are criticisms:

Outside of the problems with the project itself, criticism of NIF has been focused on its role in the Stockpile Stewardship and Management Program (SSP). This program is an umbrella effort to study the long-term storage of the nuclear stockpile, and a variety of groups have been highly critical of the effort, dismissing it as a program of "scientific welfare" that has little to do with science and much to do with keeping a nuclear industry alive. The Federation of American Scientists noted that "Some claim that the experiments were politically essential; only with the promise of huge, expensive projects would the laboratory management publicly endorse a testing moratorium." NIF is singled out as a particularly weak portion of the SSP, with questions about its capability to generate information that is actually useful to the project.

However, in 2001 it was learned that LLNL was pursuing a method to allow the use of plutonium uranium in experiments on NIF; this would allow a direct examination of equation of state parameters for these materials at extremely high pressures and densities not currently allowed by subcritical experiments which compress the fissile material using conventional explosives. The decision to proceed with the use of plutonium, other fissile materials, fissionable materials, and lithium hydride in experiments conducted at the NIF was finalized by the National Nuclear Security Administration in November 2005. A 2007 report by the National Research Council's Plasma Science Committee concluded that "NIF is crucial to the NNSA Stockpile Stewardship Program because it will be able to create the extreme conditions of temperature and pressure that exist on Earth only in exploding nuclear weapons and that are therefore relevant to understanding the operation of our modern nuclear weapons."

So, it is for studying the pressure and heat of nuclear weapons, unlike Doc Ock's project: to create an infinite energy source.

Ahh... As the title explains itself. Wanna know why?

Ok, let's go through it in chronological order.

On Friday, i attended a battalion event held by 3AMB at the night club Gotham Penthouse. It was a little dull at first, with everyone getting their fair share of drinks and chit chat, but the fun started to kick in later on with games, hottie hot hot dancers with an awesome lucky draw. Too bad i didn't win anything. But it was fun while it lasted, and at about 10, the event ended. But quite a number stayed on and we had a blast, dancing to R&B hits and remixes, drinking the booze and having eye candy.

Then i went to get THIS on Saturday! Woohoo!!! I've been waiting for its release and I've finally got it! Ok, in Red Alert 3, it begins with the story of how the Soviets changed history. In an attempt to bring back the might and power of Mother Russia, the Soviets travel back in time (awesome plan!). Of course, things went sour and an alternate timeline was created, introducing mankind to a different evolution of technology and a brand new superpower (BANZAI!)takes center stage and the entire globe plunges into World War III. Talk about awesomeness in a bomb... :P

Then on Sunday, I went to meet Calvin and Zhao Yue along with my sister, Niico! We went down to Daimaru for dinner, not bad, just a little pricey.

Blew a huge hole in my pocket, but it was worth it, especially the Gelato. Gotta love the creations from Japan!

So that more or less sums it up and i hope next weekend will be just as good. :D

After watching the ridicule movie adaption of Max Payne, i decided to get the sequel to Max Payne. A word to sum it all up, Priceless. Why? You'll never find a game which has such an in-depth storyline and great gameplay than any of those games of the same genre. Sigh... Hope they'll come up with Max Payne 3, but hopes aren't high on that one. :(

But it's given me some new ideas for a future photoshoot, gotta discuss this with Calvin...

Watched the movie Max Payne with Calvin and Eugene at 0000 last night.

It's a story of a cop named Max Payne (Like DUH!) whose wife and child get murdered and for the past years, been trying to find the ones responsible for their deaths. Not much gun fighting, a lot on the emphasis on the drug Valkyr (A drug that leaves you full of confidence to do anything, only to make you insane later on.)

Not a good movie if you're a fan of the actual game, with the storyline and characters all distorted as if they had put them in the spinning machine. Although the cinematography was really good, with an art house feel, dark and arty at the same time. But the director should have just stuck to the story line and not make his own full of crap script.

Conclusion: Watch it if you haven't heard of Max Payne before in your entire life.

Back to camp.... But i'm sick!!! :(

I'm so tired... -_-

There was so much work back at my unit! But at least we did do a good job and had a reasonable number of vehicles done. But what a plain day, nothing funny happened, no accidents (which is good), some stupid acts of immaturity here and there. Although I'm gonna miss one of my camp buddies, who I'm not gonna be seeing in camp till i ORD next year. (We'll meet once his leg casts are off)

I think I'm more used to the high tempo, all work, but not forgetting the fun and jokes, and when you look around, your section mates are hard at work. Not to mention the times my IC is screaming at the top of his lungs when he is either fed up of his workload or reprimanding that guy for breaking his vehicle part.

Did i just sound like a workaholic? UH oh....

Time to switch off and enjoy a bit of lifestyle pleasures back at home.
